Origin of Maggi –

Maggi is not an Indian dish it was first introduced by a Swiss entrepreneur ‘Julius Maggi’ the same person who introduced pre-cooked soups to the world.

In 1884, Julius takes his father’s mill with the thought to make something healthy and easy-to-cook which later turns out a delicious ‘Maggi’.

Before Maggi Noodles Maggi seasoning cubes came in 1886 by Julis to enhance the flavor of the food.

In 1897, the first Maggi company (Maggi GmbH) was founded by Julius in Germany. ‘Maggi Vans’ also began to start that time to make the food more famous.

In 1947 Maggi shake hands with Nestle that help to make it famous in the international market.

Maggi first came to India in 1984 by Nestle that time it was the sell for Rs 2.50per 100-gram packet. Maggi seasoning sauces were available in more than 15 Asian and German countries. While the Maggi Noodles are available in India, Pakistan, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, and New Zealand. 

Now the Maggi is used in different ways with different meals in India.

Cheese Maggi Ingredients   

  • 2 tablespoons cooking Oil
  • Onion – 1 cup chopped 
  • Tomato – 1 cup chopped 
  • 1 tablespoon red Kashmiri powder
  • 2 chopped green chilies
  • 1 cup peas
  • Carrot – 1 cup chopped 
  • Grated cheese – 1 cup 
  • 2 pack Maggi
  • Few chopped coriander leaves 
  • 1/ ½ cups water 


How to make Cheese Maggi –

1. Heat a pan and take 2 tablespoons of cooking oil, now add one chopped onion in it saute till it changes to golden color.

2. Then add 1 cup chopped tomato, 1 tablespoon red chili powder, 2 chopped green chilies cover the pan, and cook for 2-3 minutes.

3. Now add 1 cup peas, 1 cup chopped carrot, grated cheese, and Maggi. 

4. After that add tastemaker and 1 cup water.

5. Cook for 2 minutes in medium/high flame stir in between and cook again for 3-5 minutes. You can also add capsicum at this stage.

6. The Cheese Maggi recipe is ready to garnish with a few coriander leaves and serve it hot.

You can have Cheese Maggi in the evening with a hot cup of Masala Tea, Tea, or Coffee you can also add pakora if you want.

Yes, we can for that take a Maggi packet open it and take it out in a bowl now add Maggi Masala. Now add 375 ml warm cup in the bowl or add room temperature water.

Now in a microwave put the bowl and microwave for 1 ½ minute if you using room temperature water then microwave for 2 minutes.

When it is don’t take out suddenly wait for a few minutes because it is very hot. The 2 minutes Maggi is ready. 


Can we add curd in Maggi?

Yes, we can make curd Maggi for that take a pan heat oil add onions saute till they become brown then add tomato and cook them for a few minutes until tomato becomes soft.

Now add spices like red chili powder, coriander powder, and noodles masala then add water and add curd stir it properly for a few minutes till yogurt mix will water completely now add Maggi, salt to taste cover Maggi with lid and cook it for a few minutes.

Curd Maggi is ready you can garnish it with coriander leaves.


What can you add to Maggi?

With Maggi, you can add ginger, garlic, chopped onions, chopped carrot, peas, capsicum, chopped tomatoes, chili powder, salt, and coriander leaves for topping.
